Mission

• To promote gender equality and women’s rights within the college and the wider community.
• To provide a supportive and safe space for women to voice their concerns and seek guidance.
• To encourage and facilitate educational and professional growth for female students.
• To raise awareness about women’s issues and challenges, and work towards addressing them through programs and initiatives.

Objectives

Awareness and Advocacy:

• Organize workshops, seminars, and campaigns on women’s rights, health, and safety.
• Collaborate with NGOs and other organizations to advocate for gender equality.

Skill Development:

• Conduct training sessions and skill development programs to enhance employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to female students.

Support and Counseling:

• Establish a counseling center to offer psychological support and guidance on personal and academic matters.
• Create peer support groups for sharing experiences and fostering mutual support.

Safety and Security:

• Implement measures to ensure a safe and secure campus environment for women.
• Promote awareness on laws and policies related to women’s safety.

Academic and Professional Growth:

• Encourage and support women in pursuing higher education and research opportunities.
• Facilitate internships, scholarships, and placement assistance for female students.

Community Engagement:

• Engage with the local community to extend the cell’s activities beyond the college, addressing issues affecting women at large.
• Organize outreach programs and community service projects focused on women’s welfare.
