ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Computer Science was started in the year 2000 in CSTS GOVT. KALASALA, Jangareddigudem for Degree courses. This department offers Computer Science course with a current intake of 30. The admissions are made through OAMDC rankings. Computer Science is the combination with Bachelor of Science (Maths, Physics, Computer Science) in which the students are trained in the science of practical and theoretical foundations of Computer Programming Languages and Organization & Theory Of Computations, Graphics Applications, Web Applications, Design of a Compiler, Data Mining and Data warehouse & Computer Networks, Database Management Systems. The students are exposed to well established laboratories and latest trends in Computer Science.

Our faculty members conduct nationally recognized teaching and research in key areas of computer science. Our graduates bring technical, ethical, and life-long learning skills to the computer science profession.

MISSION

1) To produce highly qualified and motivated graduates through a rigorous curriculum of theory and application that develops the ability to solve problems, individually and in teams.

2) Creating knowledge of fundamental principles and innovative technologies through research within the core areas of computer science and also in inter-disciplinary topics.

3) Serving the communities to which we belong at local and national levels, combined with a deep awareness of our ethical responsibilities to our profession and to society.
